Corroborated · West of Sanaa, Yemen ·
Houthi-run broadcasters say the Saudi-led coalition struck oil facilities west of Sanaa, and Al Jazeera English and the Associated Press report explosions in Sanaa shortly after a coalition evacuation order. The coalition's spokesman Turki al-Maliki says it targeted a Yemeni oil company facility in Sanaa, and Tasnim, Shafaq News and Sahi place the target in oil facilities west of Sanaa. The claims give no casualty figures.

Verification
Corroborated: 7 independent sources.
Sources disagree on:
- Target identity differs: Houthi-run broadcasters and Al-Masirah name Yemen Oil Company or oil facilities, Sahi says the facility supports Houthi drone operations, OSINTdefender's repost says Saudi forces struck Houthi oil depots, Shafaq News names the Yemen Petroleum Company, and the BBC describes a fuel depot near the capital.
- Location wording differs: 'west of Sanaa' (Houthi-run broadcasters, Tasnim, Shafaq News) versus the al-Sabaha or Al-Sabah central station in Sanaa (Middle East Eye, AP, MenchOsint, Houthi-affiliated media) versus 'near Yemen's capital' (BBC).
- Attacker attribution differs: Yemen Online gives the attacker as unknown, while others name the Saudi-led coalition, Saudi warplanes, or Saudi forces.
- Timing is inconsistent: items reported at 07:11Z and 10:14Z-10:39Z on 13 October predate the stated occurrence hour of 17:00Z, and the coalition statement is dated 12 October 21:00Z (day), so the window is not reconciled across sources.
- Middle East Eye's first item reports explosions across Saudi cities, which no other claim corroborates. The AP-via-Middle East Eye headline says 'Saudi Arabia hit by multiple explosions' while its text describes explosions across Sanaa.
- Several items on Aramco fires, an Aramco evacuation warning, and a later Houthi strike on Aramco (Ynetnews, Al Jazeera, an X post) concern a separate later event and should not be merged into this strike.
Details by origin
Each detail, with the independent origins that reported it. An origin is the outlet or channel where a claim first appeared; reposts count once. A row counts no more independent origins than the event does above; where it lists more, it says so. This counts reports: it is not a measure of accuracy, and it does not change the event's status. "Reports differ" means two origins gave values that cannot both be true; it is about that detail, not about whether the incident happened.
