The IDF says that from Sunday through Monday Palestinian workers with work permits will be barred from entering Israeli communities in the West Bank and the Jordan Valley, except industrial zones and approved areas, and that all West Bank land crossings will close through Election Day, Tuesday 27 October 2026. Haaretz, Al Jazeera, DW, Euronews, Arab News, Türkiye Today and Middle East Eye relay the same announcement, and Israeli media reportedly say a full closure has taken effect.
