Saudi-led coalition says it intercepted Houthi missiles over Khamis Mushait

Corroborated · King Khalid Air Base, Saudi Arabia ·

The Saudi-led coalition says it intercepted Houthi missiles aimed at Khamis Mushait in southwestern Saudi Arabia, with figures varying across reports: one cruise missile in some, ten ballistic missiles aimed at southern Saudi Arabia in others. Several outlets report two people injured by falling missile debris in Khamis Mushait and Ahad Rafidah, citing Saudi Civil Defense as relayed by one post. The Houthis claim they struck King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait, saying the strikes hit facilities and caused Saudi dead and wounded; those hit and casualty claims are unverified by independent sources.

Details by origin

Each detail, with the independent origins that reported it. An origin is the outlet or channel where a claim first appeared; reposts count once. A row counts no more independent origins than the event does above; where it lists more, it says so. This counts reports: it is not a measure of accuracy, and it does not change the event's status. "Reports differ" means two origins gave values that cannot both be true; it is about that detail, not about whether the incident happened.
