Iran's navy, and the IRGC in one report, say they destroyed an unmanned surface vessel east of the Strait of Hormuz early on Friday. Outlets including IRNA, Anadolu, Al Jazeera, Middle East Eye and Telegram channels relay that Iranian claim, and CENTCOM is reported to deny that any such vessel was destroyed. The vessel is described as an enemy craft in some reports and as a US unmanned boat in others.
