Sources disagree on:
- The Jerusalem Post describes an active manhunt in an olive grove, while Tasnim News, relaying Israeli media, says the man left the area and the search continues; the two do not agree on whether the suspect is still in the grove.
- Tasnim News describes the man as a suspicious person monitored before police went on alert, while the Jerusalem Post describes an armed man with a rifle being actively hunted, so the sequence of events differs.
- Only the Jerusalem Post mentions Shin Bet involvement; Tasnim does not.
