Single source · Qeshm, Iran · 2026-10-30 18:43 UTC

The IRGC says it shot down a US MQM-170 drone over Qeshm Island, Hormozgan, in southern Iran, and posts about the claim appeared on 30 October 2026. Iranian state media and Tasnim relay the IRGC account, and Al-Monitor reports that Reuters could not independently verify it. Some posts describe the drone as grounded by electronic warfare, seized or landed rather than shot down, and no independent source has confirmed the event.
