Confirmed: Iran's security chief Rezaei says no enriched nuclear material will leave Iran

Confirmed · Tehran, Iran · 2026-10-20 00:00 UTC

Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, is reported across outlets as saying in a meeting with Pakistani army chief Asim Munir in Tehran that no enriched nuclear material will leave Iran. Tasnim News and a video posted by @ME_Observer_ are the primary sources; Middle East Eye says the remark came via state TV and adds that there will be no negotiations with the US until it takes trust-building steps. Wording differs between reports ("not a single gram", "not a particle", "not even a tiny amount").

Details by origin

Each detail, with the independent origins that reported it. An origin is the outlet or channel where a claim first appeared; reposts count once. A row counts no more independent origins than the event does above; where it lists more, it says so. This counts reports: it is not a measure of accuracy, and it does not change the event's status. "Reports differ" means two origins gave values that cannot both be true; it is about that detail, not about whether the incident happened.
