US Central Command commander Adm. Brad Cooper says in a video that the primary transit routes through the Strait of Hormuz have been cleared of Iranian sea mines and that commercial vessels are crossing. He also says Iranian Revolutionary Guard forces are no longer present there and that he saw no Iranian military presence during a flight over the strait. These are CENTCOM's own statements; no independent source has confirmed them.
