Sources disagree on:
- Tasnim's first report says security forces repelled the attack and the assailants fled, with no casualties mentioned; its second report says one police officer was killed and does not state the injured count.
- Tasnim's two reports differ on timing (08:03Z and 08:39Z) and on the place name form (مهرستان vs شهرستان مهرستان), which is a difference in wording, not location.
