Missile reported near Aden airport; Houthis claim strike on Saudi operations room at Badr camp

Confirmed · Aden, Yemen ·

Several outlets report a missile strike or explosion near Aden airport in southern Yemen on the morning of 21 October 2026, with smoke seen nearby. The Houthis say they fired a ballistic missile at a Saudi-led coalition operations room at Badr camp in Aden, a claim relayed by Al Jazeera and Tasnim. A Yemeni government statement says a missile targeted Aden airport, and an Israeli police official attributes the blast to a Houthi missile; the claims give no casualty figures.

Details by origin

Each detail, with the independent origins that reported it. An origin is the outlet or channel where a claim first appeared; reposts count once. A row counts no more independent origins than the event does above; where it lists more, it says so. This counts reports: it is not a measure of accuracy, and it does not change the event's status. "Reports differ" means two origins gave values that cannot both be true; it is about that detail, not about whether the incident happened.
