Several outlets report that Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip killed Palestinians on 26 October 2026, including a 7-year-old girl. Daily tolls differ: the Gaza Health Ministry, relayed by @ME_Observer_ and Drop Site, reports 11 and then 8 killed in the past 24 hours, while Anadolu, Al Jazeera and Palestine Chronicle report 4, at least 5 and 3, and Democracy Now reports 8. The ministry's cumulative toll is 74,555, with 1,559 killed since the ceasefire, and Asharq Al-Awsat says more than 1,600 have been killed since the ceasefire.

Verification

Confirmed: 6 independent sources.

Sources disagree on:

The Gaza Health Ministry's past-24-hour figures, relayed by @ME_Observer_ and Drop Site at different times, are not consistent with the daily tolls given by Anadolu, Al Jazeera, Democracy Now and Palestine Chronicle for the same day, so the number killed that day cannot be fixed from these reports.

Details by origin

Each detail, with the independent origins that reported it. An origin is the outlet or channel where a claim first appeared; reposts count once. A row counts no more independent origins than the event does above; where it lists more, it says so. This counts reports: it is not a measure of accuracy, and it does not change the event's status. "Reports differ" means two origins gave values that cannot both be true; it is about that detail, not about whether the incident happened.
