Several outlets report that Israeli fire hit the Islamic University campus in Gaza City late on 24 October 2026 and into 25 October. France 24, citing staff and a hospital, and Le Monde, Times of Israel and Al Jazeera say three people were killed at or near the university, while @ME_Observer_ reports five students wounded, some seriously. Al Jazeera's Telegram post and a Yahoo headline give seven killed across Gaza as Israel targeted the campus and other sites. Al Jazeera describes air strikes and @ME_Observer_ describes shelling, and the weapon type is attributed to each source.

Details by origin
Each detail, with the independent origins that reported it. An origin is the outlet or channel where a claim first appeared; reposts count once. A row counts no more independent origins than the event does above; where it lists more, it says so. This counts reports: it is not a measure of accuracy, and it does not change the event's status. "Reports differ" means two origins gave values that cannot both be true; it is about that detail, not about whether the incident happened.
