Al Jazeera headlines, and a Yahoo copy of an Al Jazeera headline, report that the Houthis struck Aden, Yemen, on 17 October 2026. One Al Jazeera English article names the target as Aden's presidential palace, while the other posts say only Aden. The claims give no means, timing, casualties or Houthi statement, and no official confirmation was found.

Sources disagree on:

• The Al Jazeera English article (claim 4) names Aden's presidential palace as the target, while the Al Jazeera headlines (claims 1 and 2) and the Yahoo headline (claim 3) say only Aden or Yemen's Aden.
• The Yahoo headline attributes the strike to 'Iran-backed' Houthis, while the Al Jazeera headlines do not use that qualifier.
• Report times differ by up to about 14 minutes (09:16:48Z to 09:30:02Z across posts), which is a difference in when posts appeared, not in when the strike happened.
