Physicians for Human Rights Israel and the Public Committee Against Torture in Israel say they have collected 21 testimonies documenting severe injuries to Palestinian prisoners from rubber-coated bullets fired by Israeli prison guards at close range, with most cases occurring over the past year. The claim comes from the two groups as relayed by Middle East Eye, and no other source in the event confirms or denies it.
