The IRGC says its air defence or electronic warfare systems downed or seized two US MQM-170 drones south of Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz at about 20:00 UTC on 2 November 2026. Every report relays this same IRGC claim, and no independent confirmation or denial was found; reported counts and wording (downed, shot down, captured, seized) differ. A separate IRGC claim about an MQ-9 destroyed east of the Strait is treated as another incident.
