Iran reportedly rejects US threat and sets seven conditions for talks via Pakistan

Single source · Tehran, Iran · 2026-10-21 11:59 UTC

Iran International reports that Iranian leaders set conditions for negotiations with the United States and issued fresh warnings of a wider military response on Wednesday. Middle East Spectator reports that Iran rejected the US threat, told Pakistani officials the US must accept its seven demands, and told Asim Munir to return on his plane. Both reports relay Iranian positions and neither is confirmed by an official Iranian statement among the claims.
