The Saudi-led coalition says Saudi air defences intercepted and destroyed a hostile drone over the Riyadh region on Saturday, with debris falling and no injuries or casualties reported, according to spokesman Turki al-Maliki. Several outlets attribute the drone to the Houthis, while the statements cited by The Hindu and Malay Mail say the spokesman did not say who launched it. An OSINT account on X says a likely direct hit occurred in Riyadh, but no other source reports a hit.
