Syria says Jordanian strikes in Daraa were not coordinated with Damascus

Single source · Daraa, Syria · 2026-10-26 22:23 UTC

Syrian government statements relayed by several outlets say Jordanian military operations in Daraa were carried out without prior coordination with Damascus. A Transitional Government denial of any coordination with Jordan is relayed by Tabz Live, and Al Jazeera English reports the same denial, with a headline stating Jordan launched air strikes in Syria in response to a fatal church shooting. These posts all rely on the same Syrian statement, and no source says the strikes did not happen.
