The Houthis, through Yemen's armed forces spokesperson Yahya Sarea, claim they fired a ballistic missile at a Saudi military transport aircraft at King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait, Asir Province, on 26-27 October 2026, and say it hit the aircraft. Tasnim and Telegram channels repeat the claim, and Tasnim cites unnamed sources for a massive missile attack on Khamis Mushait. Saudi authorities had not confirmed the attack in the claims' texts.
