Unverified · Iran, Iran (approximate) · 2026-10-26 18:56 UTC

Bagheri Kani, deputy for foreign policy and international security at Iran's Supreme National Security Council, is reported by Tasnim News and by videos posted by @ME_Observer_ on 2026-10-26 as saying that the US failed to achieve its goals against Iran and that Iran resisted two recent aggressions. The same reports attribute to him that the assassination of the "martyred" leader will not be overlooked and that engagement with the US and Israel has proven wrong for security. These are his own statements; no other source has confirmed or denied them.
