Posts from the @ME_Observer_ X account, which count as one origin, say Israeli forces shelled the Jabata al-Khashab forest in the Quneitra countryside, Syria, on 14 October 2026, and one of them also names Tal Al-Hamriya in the same area. Separate reports relayed from Al Manar's Telegram channel and Ajwa crowd reports place artillery fire near Zabqine (written as وادي زبقين) and El Biyad in Lebanon and attribute it to Israeli forces as reported. No casualty figures or official confirmation are given.

Sources disagree on:
- Location: the Syria posts place the shelling in the Jabata al-Khashab forest, Quneitra, Syria, while the Al Manar and Ajwa reports place it near Zabqine/El Biyad, Lebanon; the event's place field says Lebanon but its title says Syria.
- Village naming: the same @ME_Observer_ roundup post (status 2110402892494496234) names Tal Al-Hamriya, while the other claim from that roundup names Jabata al-Khashab forest.
- Timing: the Syria posts are time-stamped 15:10 and 16:10 UTC, before the 16:27 UTC occurrence time of the Lebanon report, and the Lebanon claims carry two different occurrence minutes (16:27 and 19:07).
- Place rendering: the same written name وادي زبقين is rendered as El Biyad in one claim and as Zabqine in another, so the Lebanon location itself is unstable.
