Single source: Houthis say they shot down a Saudi Wing Loong drone over Taiz province

Single source · Taiz, Yemen · 2026-10-26 06:42 UTC

The Houthis, through spokesman Yahya Saree as relayed by Tasnim News, Tabz Live and other channels, say they shot down a Saudi Wing Loong-type drone over Taiz province, Yemen. Avapress separately reports an advanced Saudi drone downed over Taiz without naming who shot it down. Sources describe the aircraft variously as an armed spy drone, armed reconnaissance aircraft, reconnaissance drone or UCAV, and no Saudi or independent confirmation has been found.

Details by origin

Each detail, with the independent origins that reported it. An origin is the outlet or channel where a claim first appeared; reposts count once. A row counts no more independent origins than the event does above; where it lists more, it says so. This counts reports: it is not a measure of accuracy, and it does not change the event's status. "Reports differ" means two origins gave values that cannot both be true; it is about that detail, not about whether the incident happened.
