Netanyahu says Israel is preparing a major military operation in the West Bank after an attack in Hebron that outlets report killed two Israeli soldiers. Reports attribute to him the claim that the operation would be unprecedented since 1967 and would begin with evacuating or destroying the attackers' neighborhood in Hebron, though wording and details vary by outlet. Several outlets describe the attack as a shooting or checkpoint attack by gunmen.
