The Saudi-led coalition says its air defences intercepted and destroyed a drone it attributes to the Houthis over the Mecca region early on Friday, 30 October. The Houthis deny launching any drone toward Mecca or Saudi territory and call the claim a fabrication. The interception rests on the coalition's own statement, relayed by many outlets, and no independent confirmation appears in the claims.

- The Saudi-led coalition says it intercepted a Houthi drone over Mecca, while Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree says the forces carried out no operation against Saudi territory and calls the claim a fabrication.
Details by origin
Each detail, with the independent origins that reported it. An origin is the outlet or channel where a claim first appeared; reposts count once. A row counts no more independent origins than the event does above; where it lists more, it says so. This counts reports: it is not a measure of accuracy, and it does not change the event's status. "Reports differ" means two origins gave values that cannot both be true; it is about that detail, not about whether the incident happened.
