IRGC says it downed US drone over Qeshm Island

Single source · Qeshm Island, Iran (approximate) · 2026-11-05 20:30 UTC

The IRGC says Iranian air defences downed a US drone over Qeshm Island, Iran, on the night of 5 to 6 November 2026. Relaying outlets give differing drone models (MQ-1, MQ-1C Gray Eagle, MQM-170) and counts, and some describe drones grounded by electronic warfare rather than shot down. The IRGC is the only source, and there was no immediate US confirmation.
