Saudi-led coalition says it intercepted Houthi missile toward Medina; Houthis deny

Disputed · Medina, Saudi Arabia · 2026-11-04

The Saudi-led coalition says its air defences intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile that the Houthis fired toward the Medina region of Saudi Arabia on Thursday, with no casualties or damage reported. The Houthis deny targeting Medina, call the Saudi claim false, and say their operations target only Saudi oil facilities and military bases. Several outlets also reported coalition or Saudi alerts for Yanbu in connection with the claim.
