About
How this is measured
Israel's Home Front Command alerts are relayed by the Tzeva Adom app, and the site reads that feed about every 30 seconds. The page counts the alerts of the last 24 hours (drills left out), the places alerted and the time of the last one. If the feed has not been read for 15 minutes it says it does not know, instead of saying there were none. Methodology.
What it cannot tell you
An alert is a warning, not an impact: it does not say that anything was fired, intercepted or hit, or where. The reports below say what outlets and channels claim happened.
Exact rules
An alert is counted once for each group of cities warned together for one threat; the areas named are those of the cities alerted.
The feed is a relay of the Home Front Command, not the Command itself, and covers Israel and the territories it alerts, not sirens in other countries (Saudi Arabia's civil defence alerts are separate events on the map).
The alert feed is read about every 30 seconds; the page is rebuilt from the stored alerts at most every few minutes.
